Accessories
Inside the pull-out trays finds space specific equipmen, also made of olmo or rovere termotrattato, and equipped with accessories such as containers with multiple or cross separators, designed for glasses, jewellery, belts and ties. On the front and back, Altair features open compartments, large and small drawers with fully extractable push opening and softclose mechanism. The upper surface is made of grigio trasparente or riflettente chiaro glass, resting on two thin sides, lacquered to match the structure. The aluminium profiles under the top hide the diffused LED lighting that illuminates the two large pull-out trays.
Design Philosophy
ALTAIR is a new double-sided cabinet system designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, available in various sizes for both residential spaces, such as walk-in wardrobes, and commercial environments. Its standout feature is a spacious drawer with a double-sided opening, gliding on concealed tracks that allow access from either side. This drawer houses large elm trays lined in the exclusive Miele-finish synthetic leather. Inside the removable trays, dedicated compartments made of elm or thermotreated oak provide organized storage for specific items, with accessories like cabinets featuring multiple or cross dividers, ideal for storing glasses, jewelry, belts, and ties. ALTAIR also includes open compartments, both large and small, push-to-open drawers, and a soft-close mechanism on both the front and back. The upper surface is crafted from grey transparent or light-reflecting glass, elegantly supported by two slim lacquered sides that match the structure.
